Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her first review was in 2009, and gained some respect from the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010, she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts cover the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Guest-starring on Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The program reviews grotesque films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult humor. When she began reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity through the Channel Awesome forums. After joining the official team consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a member in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
