Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14th of 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast who won three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles along with their younger sibling Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at just six years old. The school she attended was Bannon's Gymnastix for a total of 11 years. Biles took home the gold medal in the floor and vault exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an top competition levels in the year the year 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport less than two year later. Biles stood out for her consistency in performance, her exuberant attitude and the difficulty of her routines at all four events: vaulting uneven bars, floor exercises.
